Clase Premier – Usain Bolt

Para este mes de Julio en nuestra colaboración con Clase Premier, nos pidieron que retratáramos a este súper humano, el hombre más rápido del mundo Usain Bolt.
Ya en unos cuantos días comienzan de nuevo los juegos olímpicos, esta vez en Londres, y podremos ver en las pantallas de nuestra televisión a este motion-blur ambulante.
Nuestra intención con la portada fue resaltar la energía liberada por semejante esfuerzo al correr, fue por eso que decidimos usar una tinta especial fotoluminiscente para detallar los rayos (‘bolts’) de energía cinética convertidos en electricidad.

Clase Premier - Usain Bolt
This month on our collaboration with Clase Premier magazine we were asked to portray Usain Bolt, the super-human athlete that became the fastest man in the world.
The Olympics are just a couple of days away, and we’ll be able to watch this miracle of nature again, this walking motion blur on our tv.
Our intention with this illustration was to focus on the amount of energy released with such incredible human effort, and graphically represent it with ‘bolts’ of electricity radiating from Usain. For this, we used a special glow-in-the-dark ink to give it an extra punch.
